It has been a long time since I’ve read something refreshing, creative, funny and sexy. All about D by Lex Martin & Leslie McAdam is the kind of book you MUST NOT miss because it has all that you seek on a good book. Positive adjectives are not enough to describe how much I loved & enjoyed this book. This is what I call a “polished diamond”. I literally devoured this baby. Every page was full of perfection. Books like this one should be written more often.

The topic is unique. I experienced a mix of feelings while reading the amazing story of Josh & Evie. The characters are complex and developed. They environment around them is perfect. While Josh is the unconventional son of one of the most important families in Portland, Evie is a debutant attorney. They could have nothing in common but as my mom always says: the world is a handkerchief. Josh will need Evie’s professional services but she needs to trust him 100%.

At first sight the title of this book does not give you a clue of what is about but believe me you will have a great time reading it. All about D is not a conventional book. Lex and Leslie made an immaculate master piece. I really wonder if some of the scenes are based on reality (like the one where a mold is involved).

For the first time in my reading life I laughed a lot while reading some scenes. Josh has all to become my new book friend. He is hot & sexy as sin but he is not only a piece of meat. (Not all the men are pieces of meat). You could guess he is the kind of spoiled boy but not he is the entire contrary. Although it seems that he does not give a shit for his family, he suffers of the “protective complex. He is an architect who dedicates his time to expose “the best” of him. However he does not what to expose his family to any kind of scald caused by his singular art work. Because of that, he needs to hire an attorney who will look after his “interests”.

“If she’s going to be my attorney, she needs to be able to put up with me”.

Evie has been focused on her professional career. The firm she works for needs new clients so Josh’s call will be the catapult which will impulse her to become a partner. The peculiar thing is that her boss and the partner will accept Josh as a potential client. She will work hard so the firm takes him as a client.

“He is the secret I can’t share, the client I can’t have”.

Evie will have to fight the attraction she felt for Josh (her client) but he will not make it easy for her. To surrender to her desires will mean to lose what she tough was important to her (her future as an attorney), her dreams.

“Sometimes you feel like a dream. Like you’re too good to be true”.

The attraction between them will be explosive. The desire and lust will consume them no matter how hard Evie fought it.

I highly recommend you this book. Believe me when I say that All about D has everything to become one of your favorite reads of the year. The authors did a fantastic job in this collaboration. A brownie point is the sexy cover. I do really hope paperbacks are available soon. The model on the cover is how I imagined Josh looked like. This book is for those who want to enjoy a refreshing reading. You won’t be disappointed. Josh gave a new meaning to what a blogger is!
