Holy mafia! Undercover Attraction by Katee Robert is a wonderful reading. I’m a fan of Mafia Romance and this one has me drooling. It left me wanting more and more.
This is the first time I read something from Katee Robert and now I’m addicted to her brilliant writing. It was like I was watching one of the best Mafia movies of the year instead of reading a book. I fell deep into the story. This book should be optioned to become a movie or a TV series. I can imagine David Gandy as Aiden O’Malley. He has the looks and a powerful aura just like Aiden. This is only a dream but it could be true.
The plot is refreshing and so intense. The storyline is well developed. The characters are strong and complex. This book is a great pleasure. It had me at the edge of my seat. I devoured it. It took my breath away. There is not greater pleasure than reading a good book and Undercover Attraction has all the elements that make it one of the best books over the year.
This book can be read as a standalone and is the story of Aiden O’Malley the one who manages the O’Malley Empire.
Aiden is a powerful man, possessive as hell and so intense. If you search alpha male in the dictionary, you will find his picture. He has a raw character but he is loyal to his family. He is not like his father. He is better than him. His priority is to protect his family, especially his little sister. He won't let The Russian to make her his wife. He will do anything to avoid that. Keira deserves better.
Charlotte will be his weapon against Dmitri. Her revenge desires will help him to use her as a distraction. But she will be more than a simply distraction.
Charlotte is gonna change his game. He will give her the chance to clean her name. He will offer her justice in exchange of a small request. She has to be his fake fiancé. Being together will be a bittersweet pleasure. The attraction between them will consume their souls. Sex was not on the table but if they want to convince the most powerful spheres of the mafia, they will do it. They will play with fire and they will burnt.
Charlotte and Aiden have a deal that will benefit both of them. They won't deny the passion and lust for each other.
This is one of the most intense, forbidden and passionate Mafia Romance I had the pleasure to read. It was a raw mind-blowing read. I need more of the O’Malleys so I’m planning to read the other books in the series. Also I will be waiting “patiently” for the next book. Keira and Dmitri's story will be epic and so freaking intense. I can feel it in my skin.

“Come on.”
Aidan stepped back and took her hand. “I have something to show you.”
He led the way up the back stairs and through a door she hadn’t explored
yet. Charlie’s breath caught in her throat at the sight of candles flickering
on a table laid out with a bottle of wine, two glasses, and a whole spread of
Chinese takeout.
She let go of
his hand and wandered over to peer into the boxes. “How did you know that
crispy pork belly was my favorite?” Just like that, the pieces clicked
together. She snapped her fingers. “You had your sister feel me out?” She’d
thought Kiera had been asking about her favorite food so they could pick a
local place next time they ventured out of the house. “Shady. Very shady.”
“I am a mob
boss, after all.” He came around the table and poured them both a glass of
wine. “I have it on good authority that this cab pairs well with Chinese
takeout.”
“How classy
of you.” It was like stepping into another realm of existence as she sat down
and accepted the glass of wine while he filled two plates. When Aiden had said
that he wanted a dinner date with her, she’d assumed that meant dressing to the
nines and going out somewhere fancy. She said as much.
He snorted.
“Eating out always serves a purpose. Either you’re making a point, or ensuring
you’re seen by someone specific, or conducting a business meeting. We’ve been
making points and playing parts since we met. I’d like to try something
new—having a relaxing conversation. Just me and you, Aiden and Charlie, not the
leader of the O’Malley clan and the former-cop-turned-fake-fiancée.”
“Do you think
that’s even possible?” Such a short time together, and it was clear they both
had a boatload of issues. It was easy enough to ignore when they were banging
each other’s brains out or pretending to be something they weren’t, but holding
down a conversation without those masks in place? She wasn’t sure it was a good
idea.
