Dear goodness of the readers please has mercy of me because Incubus by Celia Aaron has stolen my soul! This book is absolutely perfection. It left me with a big book hangover. Every page has me at the edge of a heart attack. I love the way Mrs Aaron combined the underworld and the Greek mythology. The concept is original and refreshing. She mixed the best of both worlds.
As a fan of the mystical and fantasy I enjoy this book like a little girl in a candy shop. Who doesn't love vampires, demons and immortals?
This time Mrs Aaron created a fantastic world. I wonder what inspired her to write this book.
The story and the characters are well developed. It is told from both sides and it goes smoothly from past to present. I fall deep into the story. I imaged every scene. It was like a movie was playing in my head. I almost felt it real. That's the magic created by a great author like Celia Aaron. Her writing amazes me every time. She can write her “to do list” and I would love it.
An incubus plus and immortal is a rare combination that made the things more interesting.
Here the heroine has made a mistake that lead her to lose her position as a warrior maiden in the service of a goddess. She will do anything to recover it. Lilah trusted the wrong man. But she will rectify her situation. She just needs to find Roth. The powerful incubus is her key to go back to the life she misses, to go back to Mount Olympus, her home.

Lilah will learn many things while spending time with the infamous incubus. She will not make the same mistake. She is determined to keep the walls that protect her heart but Roth will destroy each one. He is not what she expected.
“You will drive me mad, female… I loved the feel of her soft, warm body pressed against my hard, cold one. The very scent of her was an aphrodisiac.”
Roth is the hot dream of any woman with hot blood. During his life, as an incubus, he has bedded many women. The beast inside him is always hungry for sexual release. Until both crave the only woman that has not shown interest in them. She is more interested in writing his life than experiencing his sexual skills.

Roth will let her stay with him and he will show her what his world is. There is something about Lilah that smitten him. It was like she was becoming his personal kind of drug. Her petite figure tamed the incubus inside him. The attraction is so intense that it clouded his senses. He will trust her. He will need her. She is the only one who can satisfy the beast.

Living with Roth will be a bittersweet experience for Lilah because she will discover the man behind the beast. She will meet the real Roth. Like her, his past haunted him.
