Pepper Winters has done it again. Throne of Truth has exceeded my expectations. It’s amazing to see how the characters evolve throughout the book. It has all that you want in a book: a good story, complex and developed characters, drama, a little bit of suspense, sex and a love story.

This book is the conclusion of the Truth and Lies Duet which starts with Crown of Lies. Literally I devour this book in one day. I was so desperate to read this book. All the theories I had since I read Crown of Lies were so close to what you will find in this epic conclusion of one of the best Duets I had the pleasure to read and both books will be on my top list on 2017.

It’s fascinating to find a real good book like this. The kind you want to have it in your bookshelf. Pepper has ruined me for other authors. She is one of those writers who put her heart on her writing. She has built a wonderful story around Elle and Penn. It was entrancing to see Elle’s evolution trough all the book but Penn took my heart. She became a stronger woman who will give herself (if she has to) in order to defend her love.

One of many things I liked about this book is the suspense created around of who Nameless was. The twists of the story will have you at the edge. It’s really hard not to fall for Penn who is the kind of man with a tormented past. However with Elle’s help he will conquer his demons. As a couple they are perfect for each other. They are like magnets.

At a crucial moment of the book I wanted to slap Penn on the face for being an asshole when Elle showed me that no matter what, she will keep on fighting for both of them if it’s necessary. She is the moon and he is the sun and together they are perfect. They will overcome all obstacles which seek to separate them. After a Crown of lies, a Throne of Truth must arise.

I urge you to read this duet. You won’t be disappointed on the contrary; I assure you that it will captivate you from the first pages. The lies will wrap you sweetly in their arms and only the truth will save you from their claws. Do not waste more time and grab your copy now! I highly recommend you to read this book.
