Since I started reading this book I could not put it down. Every page had me at the edge. The drama is intense. I could savor the pain of lies. The lies in the past will bring consequences. And those consequences will affect the course of three human being life.

It's amazing how the author's mind works. Pam simply gives us the best part of the series. This is where the knot of history is. This book is full of revelations; it is a roll coaster of emotions. It is a tangle of love where the main characters will have to define their true feelings.

What we expect of life is to find our soul mate. To find a special person who will share his/her life with you. But sometimes destiny has some other twisted plans for you.

In this book, Danni will have to deal with the return of Cole from death. Her first love is back. Seeing him will cause a whirlwind of confusion in her life because she has decided to move on. At some point she felt guilty for wanting to go on with her life but Trace is her second chance to love. Losing Cole was hard and his return is a bittersweet surprise.

When I read “One is a Promise” I liked Cole but reading this book make me hate him because he should’ve been honest to Danni from the beginning of their relationship. He lied to her. A man who lies is not capable of loving because love is a pure feeling that cannot be tarnished with lies. Cole is the one who played dirty. (That’s something I don’t like very much).

“I did this to you. I put you in this position because of decisions I made, I’m fully prepared to pay for that.”

Now, I am team Trace. He is the one who truly care for Danni. He understands better the situation created by lies and omissions. For me, he is the good boy. Trace has stolen my heart. If Danni doesn’t choose him, I will do it!
