Save Me
Cover Design by Jada D'Lee Designs
Can a weeping willow grow into a steel
magnolia? Ellie Cochran doesn’t think so. She is a lost soul if there ever was
one. A life filled with unimaginable loss does that to a person. Tired of
fighting for one that doesn’t seem worth living any more, she knows it’s time
to make a decision.
A stop for coffee is the last place she
expects for that choice to be forced on her. But when the bullets start flying
will she choose death–finally crossing over the threshold she’s been hovering
at for two seemingly endless years, or will she choose the hope she sees in a
tall, beautiful stranger’s eyes?
Nikolas Jensen didn’t know grabbing a
coffee before work would turn his world upside down. He didn’t plan on making
any life-altering decisions when he walked through those doors either. But
that’s exactly what he has to do. When death is staring you down from the
barrel of a gun, do you save yourself, or a woman you just met?
Their paths now stitched together by one
traumatic morning, Nik and Ellie must pick up the broken pieces. Can they do it
together or will Ellie's demons be too much for them both?
This contemporary romance is a first book in Magnolia
Series and also Alexandra Page debut.
When I started to read this book I was excited and
curious.
Every moment between the main characters. I was
wrapped up in their emotional outburst.
Ellie, a woman who’s been emotionally shredded by her
past, and she is tired of her grief.
And Nikolas Jensen, he is professor of furniture
design at the local college.
All of the characters in this book are so relatable
and real, you can see parts.
This book threw me into a real scenario where I was
forced to truly think about everything that I would our could possibly do in
the situation the characters were in was a very emotional journey through love,
the forgiveness and support.
The best book are the ones who makes you think and
question what you think or know. They give you perspectives and insight. They
challenge you to make through choices.
This story had me on the edge of my seat. I attempted
to figure things out before they happened. The author takes you on quite on
emotional rollercoaster.
Born and raised in the deep south,
Alexandra Page believes in staying close to her roots. She lives in Georgia on
the family farm with her husband of twenty-four years and their teenage
daughter and son, where she began her writing journey.
A bit of an introvert, you’ll most likely
find her happily tucked away at home with her music, laptop, and a ice-cold
glass of sweet tea weaving together the stories that have filled her mind since
childhood. As a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic, those stories always have
happy endings no matter the angst they may contain.
When she’s not busy writing, or she
doesn’t have her hands full being a wife and mother to her favorite people, she
loves doing anything creative she can get her hands on, including cake
decorating, refinishing furniture, graphic design, and photography.
Alexandra enjoys getting to know her
readers and other fellow writers. Drop by and say hello on any of her social
media accounts.
