Once upon a time there was a beautiful bookworm. She
loved reading. Her world was like a fairy tale until her attention was caught
by a peculiar book. That book had one of the most gorgeous covers. When she
started to read it, her world did change. Every page was a bookish pleasure.
Her soul sang and her heart fell for the male character. Yes, that gorgeous
bookworm was me. I didn’t know how to start my review so I thought that writing
a little story could be a nice start.
It is always a pleasure to read a book written by two
talented ladies. Cocky Fiancé by T.L.
Smith and Melissa Jane is a delicious, cute and funny read, all wrapped up in
one dangerous suit-porn cover. It is a fantastic reading that will leave you
breathless and it will make you blush like a little girl. This book deserves
millions of unicorns as rating (I am sure Hawk will approve it).
There exist many implicit rules that shall be tidily
followed as: Don’t date and/or sleep with your best fried’s ex, don’t date your
siblings’ friends (it can be messy and really weird if things don’t work) and
many other rules. Nevertheless people tend to be drawn to THE FORBBIDEN. You
can shame the hormones or the unicorns. The forbidden is always the most
pleasurable.
These talented ladies deliver a stunning and addictive
book. Their male character is an alpha in every way. Hawk is intense,
possessive and so cocky. He can seduce in the most delightful way. He is
temptation on skin, an uncontrolled menace.
On the other hand we have a sassy heroine. Britta is
the kind of woman I want to be when I grow up. She is so professional and she
has a bunch of sexy brothers. Yes, she can be my best friend.
Britta and Hawk are fire together. I absolutely love
this explosive couple. I wonder how they could hide what they felt since they
were younger. I perfectly understand that they did not see each other in a
romantic or sexual way because of the friendship between Hawk and Britta’s
brothers but gosh the attraction between them is so hot. And they work
together. Hawk is Britta’s boss so this adds more to the temptation. It was
like the universe was conspiring against them and destiny gave them the ok to
fall into each other’s arms.

I enjoy their sexual jokes. Their teasing and flirting
games were something from other world. I spend a good time while reading. I
laugh and blush a lot.
I love everything about this book. The plot was well
developed. (There is no cliché). You do not want to miss this forbidden
romance. I adore T.L. and Melissa’s writing. The storyline captivated from
beginning to end. It is wild, intense, hilarious, hot and so forbidden.
I HIGHLY recommend you to read Cocky Fiancé. You should grab it as soon as you can.

Valentino brother and I promise to be a really good girl.
