Title: The Bad Guy
Author: Celia Aaron
Genre: Dark Romance
Release Date: May 21, 2017
My name is Sebastian Lindstrom, and I’m the villain of this
story.
I’ve decided to lay myself bare. To tell the truth for once
in my hollow life, no matter how dark it gets. And I can assure you, it will
get so dark that you’ll find yourself feeling around the blackened corners of
my mind, seeking a door handle that isn’t there.
Don’t mistake this for a confession. I neither seek
forgiveness nor would I accept it. My sins are my own. They keep me company.
Instead, this is the true tale of how I found her, how I stole her, and how I
lost her.
She was a damsel, one who already had her white knight. But
every fairy tale has a villain, someone waiting in the wings to rip it all
down. A scoundrel who will set the world on fire if that means he gets what he
wants. That’s me.
I’m the bad guy.

Every girl in the world dreams of a
Charming Prince or a white knight. Believing in fairy and the happily ever
after. In other words we dream of the good boy but after reading this book you
will want a bad guy, the villain of the story.
“Every fairy tale has a villain, someone waiting in the wings to rip it all down”.
Celia Aaron, as the princess of dark
romance, gift us the perfect bad boy. She also shows us the other side of the
story because in every fairy tale the villain is underestimated and hated by all
and there are also knights who can be monsters.
This book is deliciously dark and
intense. It has all the elements to make it the best dark romance book I read
over the month. The story is fluid and full of twist and turns that will have
you at the edge. It’s quite different from what I use to read but I loved it.
The characters are developed and
complex. I could feel their feelings trough every page. The Bad Guy is the kind
of book that you won’t put it down until you devour it all. You will find a complicated anti-heroe
who will be darkly poetic. Sebastian Lindstrom is waiting for you ready to seduce
you into his darkness. He has an air of command. He pursues his desires without
overthinking. He will give a new meaning to what love at first sight is.
It took a single glance to Sebastian to
be obsessed of the beautiful damsel that still his breaths and make him “feel”.
His robot mind will work fast in order to get Camille at any cost.
“The need to possess her was what fired through my veins, not the sentimental nonsense of hearts and flowers."
The browned damsel already has his white
knight but being with him does not feels right. Deep inside Camille is the dark
desire to be possessed. A darkness that only Sebastian can give her.
“He was horrible, a kidnapper, a stalker— every bad guy rolled into one.”
The human mind works in a mysterious ways.
And how we act is under different levels. It mattered if it’s good or bad.
However Sebastian will learn from his mistakes and he will try hard to mend
them.
“The more she tried to fly away, the harder I wanted to clip her wings. She was the most precious thing I’d ever found.”
While reading this book I had mixed
feelings. One minute I was happy and at the other I wanted to scream. The
interaction between the characters is refreshing. Sebastian and Camille will
discover their true feelings hoping it wasn’t to late to have a chance for
being together.
“You’re light, but you crave the dark. You crave me.”
As a fan to Celia I kindly invite to
read Sebastian and Camille' story. If you have read any of her other book, you
will agree with me. If she is new to you, I assure you that you won’t be
disappointed. I’m addicted to her writing. She is capable of make you fall for
anti-heroes.
“Every bad guy is the hero of his own tale.”
